PolyTek™ is a high quality polyurethane model and die system that is significantly stronger than any die stone. Models have excellent abrasion and chip resistance and are less affected by impact from bench work and transportation.
Because of its accuracy and toughness, PolyTek™ is ideal for specific applications like lower anterior teeth, long/thin preps, implant cases and angled preps. Dies section easily with a saw and trim nicely with a burr. PolyTek’s low viscosity allows it to fill even the smallest interstices of impressions including sharp impressions. Initial set in 15 minutes. After six hours of curing, the model is smooth, shiny and stable with no expansion and minimal shrinkage.
PolyTek™ can be used with conventional base stone and pin systems to control costs. It is available in our bestselling eye-soothing ivory color, and the kit includes all you need in an easy to use two-part system (activator and base). A gun and cartridge package is coming soon. |
